→ For the Tacos

16 - 125ml shredded lettuce
17 - 125ml diced tomatoes
18 - 60ml finely chopped red onion
19 - 125ml shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
20 - 60ml chopped fresh cilantro
21 - 1 lime, cut into wedges
22 - 125ml sour cream or Greek yogurt (for serving)

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl. Evenly coat the chicken breasts or thighs with the spice blend.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (75°C internal temperature). Transfer to a board and rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
03 - In the same skillet set over medium heat, melt unsalted butter. Sauté minced garlic for 30-45 seconds until aromatic. Add honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes. Stir thoroughly and simmer 2-3 minutes until thickened slightly.
04 - Return the sliced chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat with sauce. Simmer for 2 additional minutes to infuse the flavors.
05 - Heat a dry skillet over medium heat. Toast each tortilla for 15-20 seconds per side until warm and lightly charred.
06 - Layer glazed chicken in each warm tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, cheese, and fresh cilantro. Finish with a squeeze of lime and serve with sour cream or Greek yogurt on the side.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For meal prep, store components separately and assemble just before serving for optimal texture.
02 - Double the sauce if you prefer extra for drizzling or dipping.
03 - Substitute whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for a lighter option.
04 - Lay out toppings buffet-style to allow for personal customization.
