Frozen Peppermint Pattie Delight (Print-Friendly Version)

Cool mint and rich chocolate combine with a crumbly Oreo base for a refreshing frozen dessert.

# What You'll Need:

→ Crust

01 - 20 Oreo cookies
02 - 60 ml unsalted butter, melted

→ Filling

03 - 1 can (396 g) sweetened condensed milk
04 - 225 g cream cheese, softened
05 - 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
06 - 240 ml heavy cream

→ Ganache

07 - 130 g dark chocolate chips (approximately 63% cocoa)
08 - 80 ml heavy cream

# How to Make It:

01 - Pulse Oreo cookies and melted butter in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Press the mixture evenly onto the bottom and sides of a 23 cm pie plate. Refrigerate until ready to fill.
02 - In a large bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, softened cream cheese, and peppermint extract using a handheld mixer at medium-high speed until smooth. Add heavy cream and continue beating until stiff peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes.
03 - Pour the filling over the prepared crust and smooth into an even layer. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until solid, at least 4 hours or overnight.
04 - Place dark chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Heat heavy cream in a small pot over medium heat until bubbles begin to form around the edges. Pour hot cream over chocolate chips and let sit for 1 minute, then whisk until smooth.
05 - Remove the pie from the freezer and evenly spread the ganache over the frozen filling. Return to the freezer and chill until the chocolate is set, at least 15 minutes or up to 1 hour.
