# What You'll Need:

→ Filling

01 - 1 pound ground beef or turkey
02 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 1/4 cup ketchup
05 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
06 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
07 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Assembly and Frying

08 - 12 to 15 egg roll wrappers
09 - 1 large egg, beaten
10 - Vegetable oil for deep frying

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
02 - Stir in cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until the cheese melts and the mixture is well combined. Let cool slightly.
03 - Place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
04 - Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C), ensuring there is enough oil to fully submerge the egg rolls.
05 - Fry a few egg rolls at a time for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pot for even cooking.
06 - Remove egg rolls with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Ensure the filling is fully cooled before assembly to prevent tearing or sogginess.
02 - Use a thermometer to maintain oil temperature for optimal crispiness.
03 - Avoid overfilling wrappers to prevent ruptures during frying.
04 - Assembled egg rolls can be frozen and fried directly from frozen with an additional minute of cook time.
