BBQ Chicken Grilled Pizza (Print-Friendly Version)

Grilled pizza layered with BBQ chicken, blue cheese, red onion, and basil for a bold backyard favorite.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 210 g shredded chicken
02 - 191 g barbecue sauce, divided
03 - 1 portion pizza dough (homemade or store-bought), shaped for a 23 cm round
04 - ½ red onion, finely chopped
05 - 68 g crumbled blue cheese
06 - Small handful fresh basil, finely chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat an outdoor grill on high to prepare for cooking.
02 - In a small bowl, toss shredded chicken with half of the barbecue sauce and set aside.
03 - On a lightly floured 23 cm pizza pan, roll out and gently stretch the dough to fit the pan.
04 - Carefully transfer the dough to the preheated grill. Close the lid and grill for 3–5 minutes, checking frequently to prevent excessive charring.
05 - Flip the dough and continue grilling with the lid closed for another 3–5 minutes, monitoring closely for even browning.
06 - Remove the grilled dough from the grill. Brush the top with a thin layer of remaining barbecue sauce. Evenly distribute red onion, crumbled blue cheese, barbecue chicken, and basil over the surface.
07 - Cut into slices and serve immediately while hot.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Monitor grill temperature closely, as different models may vary in heat intensity and cooking times.
02 - For best results, use parchment paper or a pizza peel for easier dough transfer to the grill.
