Heat an outdoor grill on high to prepare for cooking.

In a small bowl, toss shredded chicken with half of the barbecue sauce and set aside.

On a lightly floured 23 cm pizza pan, roll out and gently stretch the dough to fit the pan.

Carefully transfer the dough to the preheated grill. Close the lid and grill for 3–5 minutes, checking frequently to prevent excessive charring.

Flip the dough and continue grilling with the lid closed for another 3–5 minutes, monitoring closely for even browning.

Remove the grilled dough from the grill. Brush the top with a thin layer of remaining barbecue sauce. Evenly distribute red onion, crumbled blue cheese, barbecue chicken, and basil over the surface.
