Baked Salmon with Lemon Sauce (Print-Friendly Version)

Salmon fillets baked with bright lemon sauce, herbs, and butter for a flavorful and satisfying dinner option.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 4 salmon fillets (each approximately 150 g, skin-on)

→ Lemon Sauce

02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
04 - Juice of 1 large lemon (about 40 ml)
05 - Zest of 1 lemon
06 - 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

→ Seasonings & Garnish

07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
02 - Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a baking dish, ensuring there is space between each piece.
03 - In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Stir gently until well combined and fragrant.
04 - Season the salmon fillets evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Pour the warm lemon butter sauce over the salmon, distributing it evenly.
05 - Sprinkle the chopped dill and parsley evenly over the fillets for aromatic freshness.
06 - Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
07 - Remove from the oven and serve immediately, drizzling any remaining lemon sauce from the baking dish over the fillets. Pair with suggested side dishes if desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For a deeper flavour, allow the salmon to marinate in the lemon butter sauce for 10 minutes before baking.
02 - Ensure not to overbake; salmon is cooked perfectly when it is just opaque and flakes gently.
03 - Fresh dill and parsley add both vibrant flavour and appealing colour to the dish.
