Air Fryer Potato Slices (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden crispy potato slices with garlic and herbs, tender inside and fast-cooked in an air fryer.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 large starchy potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
02 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic granules
04 - 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary, or Italian seasoning)
05 - 1 teaspoon salt, plus more for serving

# How to Make It:

01 - Wash potatoes thoroughly under cool water, scrubbing off any dirt. Slice into 0.5 cm thick rounds for even cooking.
02 - Place sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 5 minutes to remove surface starch. Drain and pat completely dry with a clean towel to prevent steaming.
03 - Transfer dry potato slices to a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle garlic granules, dried herbs, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
04 - Preheat air fryer to 200°C (390°F). Arrange slices in a single layer with gaps for air circulation. Air fry for 18 minutes, shaking basket halfway. Add 2 minutes for extra crispness if desired.
05 - Transfer golden slices to serving platter. Optionally sprinkle with additional salt and serve hot with preferred dip.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Fully drying the potato slices before air frying is essential for a crisp texture.
02 - Soaking removes excess starch and prevents slices from sticking together.
03 - Use evenly sized potatoes to ensure uniform cooking.
