In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until just incorporated.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into 1.3 cm thick patties. Lightly oil your hands if necessary to prevent sticking.

Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, turning once, until golden and a food thermometer registers an internal temperature of 75°C.

Allow cooked patties to rest briefly. Toast the burger buns if desired. Assemble each with your choice of lettuce, tomato, and avocado before serving.
