17 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika

→ Cheese Topping

18 - 100 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded
19 - 100 grams cheddar cheese, shredded

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
02 - Slice the French bread lengthwise and arrange cut-side up on the prepared sheet. Combine softened butter, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly over both halves.
03 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add ground beef and cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up clumps until evenly browned. Add diced onion, green pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are tender. Drain excess fat.
04 - Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and paprika. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered for 6–8 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens.
05 - Spoon the hot sloppy joe mixture evenly over both bread halves. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses across the top.
06 - Transfer to the oven and bake for 12–14 minutes or until the cheese is fully melted and golden around the edges.
07 - Remove from oven. Rest for 1–2 minutes, then cut each half into multiple portions. Serve hot while cheese is gooey.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Using garlic bread in place of traditional buns prevents sogginess and adds texture.
02 - A blend of mozzarella and cheddar provides optimal melt and robust flavor.
03 - For enhanced crispiness, pre-toast the bread prior to assembly.
