In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and optional shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until evenly combined.

Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into pre-cut triangles.

Scoop a generous spoonful of the sausage filling onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll it up toward the point, tucking the filling inside.
