Quick Kitchen Cream Sauce (Print-Friendly Version)

Creamy garlic Parmesan sauce made in minutes, perfect for topping pasta, dipping, or drizzling on vegetables.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves fresh garlic, finely minced
03 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning blend
04 - 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

→ Liquids & Dairy

05 - 480 ml vegetable broth
06 - 180 ml heavy cream

→ Cheese & Garnish

07 - 225 g freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
09 - Kosher salt, to taste
10 - Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Place a large sauté pan over medium heat and add unsalted butter. Once melted, add finely minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent browning.
02 - Add all-purpose flour and Italian seasoning blend to the pan. Whisk continuously for 1 minute to create a smooth roux without lumps.
03 - Gradually pour in vegetable broth while whisking steadily. Allow mixture to simmer and thicken for 2–3 minutes.
04 - Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and freshly shredded Parmesan cheese. Continue to whisk until cheese is fully melted and sauce achieves a silky, cohesive texture.
05 - Season with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Transfer sauce to a serving vessel and finish with finely chopped fresh parsley.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For a thinner sauce, adjust consistency with a splash of hot vegetable broth. Substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter alternative.
02 - Sauce pairs excellently with pasta, roasted vegetables, and grilled meats.
