13 - 8 flour or corn taco shells, warmed

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C to ensure even cooking of the assembled tacos.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent, about 2–3 minutes. Incorporate ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula. Stir in taco seasoning, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until flavors meld.
03 - Fill each warmed taco shell with the meat mixture, then top generously with shredded cheese. Arrange filled shells standing side by side in a greased baking dish.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and shells are lightly crisp.
05 - Remove tacos from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, and chopped cilantro. Add optional toppings such as sour cream, jalapeños, or guacamole as desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Slightly warm taco shells before filling to prevent cracking and improve pliability.
02 - Allow tacos to rest a minute after baking to maintain structure during serving.
03 - To make gluten-free, substitute taco shells with gluten-free varieties or use lettuce wraps.
04 - Leftovers can be frozen unbaked; bake directly from frozen adding extra cook time as needed.
