Savory beef over jasmine rice with sweet, spicy sauce and veggie toppings. Ready in 25 minutes.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 200 g uncooked jasmine rice
02 - 450 g lean ground beef
03 - 13 g packed brown sugar
04 - 45 ml hoisin sauce
05 - 30 ml soy sauce
06 - 5 ml sriracha sauce, or to taste
07 - 5 g grated fresh ginger
08 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 red bell pepper, chopped

→ Garnish (optional)

10 - Chopped scallions
11 - Sesame seeds

# How to Make It:

01 - Rinse jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water until water runs clear. Cook rice according to package instructions. Keep warm for serving.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef and break apart using a spatula. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is fully browned. Drain excess fat if present.
03 - Remove skillet from heat. Add brown sugar, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, grated ginger, and minced garlic to the beef. Stir until beef is evenly coated with the sauce mixture.
04 - Return skillet to medium heat. Add chopped red bell pepper and stir well. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly softened.
05 - Serve beef mixture over the cooked jasmine rice. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds to enhance flavor and texture.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Adjust the amount of sriracha to modify the heat; increase for extra spice or decrease for a milder bowl.
02 - For variation, substitute jasmine rice with brown rice, cauliflower rice, or quinoa.
03 - Alternative proteins such as ground turkey, chicken, or tofu work well and offer dietary flexibility.
04 - Add vegetables like shredded carrots, zucchini, or snap peas for increased nutritional value.
