In a shallow baking dish, whisk together the Italian dressing, garlic powder, and salt until well combined. Add the chicken breasts to the dish and turn them over a few times to ensure they are evenly coated in the marinade. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight, to let the flavors fully absorb into the chicken.

When ready to cook, preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the used marinade. Place the chicken on the hot grill and cook for about 7 to 8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden with grill marks and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
