Honey Lemon Chicken Thighs (Print-Friendly Version)

Succulent chicken thighs coated in a sweet-tangy honey lemon glaze that caramelizes perfectly during baking.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
05 - 1 tablespoon honey
06 - 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce (low sodium if possible)
07 - 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (basil, thyme, or a mix)
08 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
02 - Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season them on both sides with salt and pepper. Optionally sprinkle with garlic powder for extra flavor.
03 - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant. Place the chicken thighs in the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes per side until golden.
04 - While the chicken sears, whisk together the gluten-free soy sauce, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl.
05 - Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the skillet, ensuring each piece is well coated.
06 - Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). The sauce should bubble slightly and begin to thicken.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For extra citrus flavor, add a tablespoon of lemon juice or some lemon zest. To thicken the sauce, stir in a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with water before baking.
