# What You'll Need:

→ Seafood

01 - 450 grams large shrimp, peeled and deveined

→ Marinade

02 - 45 milliliters extra virgin olive oil
03 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
04 - Juice of 1 fresh lemon
05 - Zest of 1 lemon
06 - 1 teaspoon ground paprika
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ To Finish

09 - Fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped, for garnish
10 - Lemon wedges, for serving

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
02 - Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat thoroughly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavor.
03 - Preheat grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
04 - Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each to ensure even cooking.
05 - Place skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once, until shrimp are pink, firm, and opaque throughout.
06 - Remove shrimp from grill and allow to rest for 1 minute. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges immediately.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Allowing adequate marination time enhances the depth of flavor in the shrimp.
02 - Avoid overcooking shrimp to retain desirable tenderness and juiciness.
