Grilled Honey Buffalo Chicken Thighs (Print-Friendly Version)

Juicy chicken thighs grilled low and slow, finished with a caramelized honey buffalo glaze that’s sweet, tangy, and spicy.

# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 900 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs

→ Glaze

02 - 60 ml buffalo sauce
03 - 30 ml honey
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Seasoning

05 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
06 - 0.25 teaspoon fine sea salt
07 - 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley

→ Garnish (optional)

08 - 2 tablespoons chopped green onions

# How to Make It:

01 - In a small bowl, whisk together buffalo sauce, honey, and minced garlic until fully blended.
02 - Evenly sprinkle chicken thighs on all sides with salt, black pepper, and dried parsley.
03 - Transfer seasoned chicken to a large bowl or sealable bag. Add 2 tablespoons of the honey buffalo glaze and toss thoroughly to coat. Set aside to marinate while preheating the grill.
04 - Preheat grill to medium-low heat, ensuring grates are clean and lightly oiled.
05 - Place chicken thighs smooth-side down on the grill. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, flipping regularly. Each time you flip, baste chicken with additional honey buffalo glaze. Continue until chicken is cooked through and glaze is caramelized, with internal temperature reaching 74°C to 77°C.
06 - Remove chicken from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh green onions if desired. Serve immediately with preferred accompaniments.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For deeper flavor, the chicken can be marinated in the honey buffalo glaze for up to 2 hours before grilling.
02 - Prepare the glaze up to one week ahead and store refrigerated; stir well before use.
03 - Maintaining a gentle grilling temperature prevents flare-ups and guarantees juicy, tender results.
04 - The chicken may also be cooked indoors using a grill pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat.
