08 - 2 teaspoons sambal oelek

→ Steak

09 - 2 flat iron steaks

# How to Make It:

01 - Whisk together soy sauce, shaoxing wine, honey, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and sambal oelek in a measuring cup until well blended.
02 - Transfer marinade to a resealable plastic bag. Add flat iron steaks, seal, and massage to fully coat meat. Refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours.
03 - Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
04 - Remove steaks from marinade and place directly on the grill. Reserve marinade liquid. Cook steaks to preferred doneness, turning once midway.
05 - Pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until reduced by half, approximately 10–15 minutes, until slightly thickened.
06 - Arrange grilled steaks on a platter. Drizzle with the reduced marinade and serve immediately.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Marinating overnight intensifies the flavor if time allows.
02 - Let steaks rest for a few minutes before slicing for optimal juiciness.
