Greek Beef Souvlaki Skewers (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender beef is marinated, skewered, and grilled with vibrant Greek flavors for a delicious Mediterranean dish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Marinade

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
02 - Juice of 1 lemon
03 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
04 - 2 tablespoons Greek seasoning

→ Beef

05 - 680 grams chuck roast, trimmed and cubed into bite-sized pieces

→ Garnish

06 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and Greek seasoning.
02 - Add the cubed beef to the marinade and toss thoroughly to coat each piece. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow flavours to develop.
03 - Preheat outdoor grill to high heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water during this time. Metal skewers may be used without soaking.
04 - Thread marinated beef onto skewers, distributing pieces evenly.
05 - Place skewers on the preheated grill. Cook, turning occasionally, until beef reaches desired doneness: rare (52°C), medium-rare (55–57°C), medium (57–63°C), medium-well (63–68°C), or well done (68°C).
06 - Allow skewers to rest briefly off heat before serving. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
07 - Serve immediately, accompanied by rice, tzatziki sauce, pita bread, or red onions as desired.

# Additional Tips:

01 - After trimming, the final weight of beef may be between 450–570 grams.
02 - For optimal tenderness and flavour, allow beef to marinate for at least 3 hours.
03 - Monitoring internal temperature ensures beef is cooked to preferred doneness.
