# What You'll Need:

→ Filling

01 - 500 g ground beef
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 150 g onion, finely diced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon ketchup or BBQ sauce
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
10 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
11 - 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste

→ Pastry & Garnish

12 - 1 sheet cold puff pastry (approx. 250 g)
13 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
14 - Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 3 to 5 minutes until soft and lightly golden. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly, breaking apart with a spoon. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and salt. Cook until the mixture is glossy and slightly sticky. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
02 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out cold puff pastry into a rectangle approximately 30x40 cm. Evenly spread cooled beef filling over pastry, leaving a small border. Starting from one long edge, roll pastry tightly into a log. Slice the log into spirals approximately 2.5 to 3.8 cm thick.
03 - Place spirals cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced evenly. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 22 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Ensure the filling is fully cooled before spreading onto the pastry to prevent melting the dough.
