Glazed Roasted Carrots Honey (Print-Friendly Version)

Oven-roasted carrots glazed in garlic, butter, and honey for a tender, savory-sweet side dish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 900 g carrots, diagonally sliced into 5–7 cm pieces

→ Dairy

02 - 70 g unsalted butter

→ Aromatics

03 - 4 garlic cloves, minced

→ Sweeteners

04 - 30 ml honey

→ Seasonings

05 - 0.25 teaspoon fine sea salt, or to taste
06 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

→ Garnish

07 - Chopped fresh parsley, for serving

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease a large baking sheet and cut carrots into diagonal pieces of similar size and thickness.
02 - Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden. Remove from heat and blend in honey until a smooth mixture forms.
03 - Place sliced carrots in a mixing bowl. Pour garlic-honey butter over the carrots, add salt and black pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
04 - Arrange coated carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 22–25 minutes, stirring once halfway, until carrots are tender and caramelised at the edges.
05 - Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Transfer roasted carrots to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve warm.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For best results, cut carrots uniformly to ensure even roasting.
02 - Dish can be prepared ahead and gently reheated before serving.
03 - If using baby carrots, reduce the roasting time for optimal tenderness.
