09 - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
10 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Cheese Sauce

11 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
12 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
13 - 240 ml whole milk
14 - 100 g shredded provolone cheese or mozzarella
15 - 55 g shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
16 - 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
17 - Salt, to taste

→ Optional Toppings

18 - Sliced jalapeños
19 - Chopped fresh parsley
20 - Crushed red pepper flakes
21 - Additional shredded cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven or air fryer according to package instructions. Arrange frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt. Bake or air fry for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp. Reserve and keep warm.
02 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to create a smooth roux. Gradually add milk while whisking continuously. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 3–5 minutes. Lower heat, add provolone, cheddar (if using), garlic powder, and salt. Stir until cheeses melt and sauce is smooth. Keep warm, stirring occasionally.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak strips and season with salt and black pepper. Sear for 2–3 minutes until browned but juicy. Remove steak and reserve. In the same pan, sauté onions and green bell peppers until softened and slightly caramelised, roughly 5–6 minutes. Return steak to the pan. Add Worcestershire sauce, toss well, and cook 1 minute more.
04 - Arrange hot fries on a large serving platter. Distribute steak and vegetable mixture evenly over fries. Generously drizzle with warm cheese sauce. Garnish with optional toppings such as jalapeños, parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, or extra cheese. Serve immediately while hot and melty.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For crisp results, use thin-cut fries or waffle fries and bake until deeply golden.
02 - Quickly sear the steak to lock in juiciness and prevent toughness.
03 - For added heat, incorporate jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce into the cheese sauce.
04 - Arrange ingredients in layers: fries first, then steak and vegetables, and cheese sauce last.
05 - Store individual components separately in airtight containers and reheat just before serving.
