Crispy Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden salmon fillets coated in sticky honey garlic glaze, ready in minutes for a simple yet impressive main dish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 4 skin-on salmon fillets

→ Glaze

02 - 60 ml honey
03 - 30 ml low-sodium soy sauce
04 - 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

→ For Cooking and Garnish

05 - 30 ml olive oil
06 - Chopped green onions, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Rinse salmon fillets under cold water and gently pat thoroughly dry with paper towels to encourage crisp skin.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside for glazing during cooking.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once oil is shimmering, place salmon fillets skin-side down. Sear undisturbed for 4 minutes until skin turns golden and crispy.
04 - Carefully flip fillets. Brush with half of the honey garlic glaze. Continue cooking 3–4 minutes, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork; internal temperature should reach 63°C.
05 - Remove skillet from heat. Drizzle remaining glaze over salmon and garnish with chopped green onions just before serving.

# Additional Tips:

01 - For richer flavor, marinate salmon in glaze for 30 minutes before cooking, then pat dry for optimal crispness.
02 - Maple syrup can substitute for honey if desired, delivering a unique sweetness.
03 - Always use fresh garlic for best result; jarred garlic is less aromatic.
04 - Reducing the honey and adding a splash of lemon juice creates a less sweet and brighter glaze.
