Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell lengthwise down the center, stopping before the tail. Gently lift the meat and set it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley.

Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy cleanup.

Place lobster tails on the prepared sheet. Generously brush garlic butter over each tail, coating the exposed meat. Bake for 8–12 minutes, depending on size, until the meat is opaque and firm.

Optional: Broil the lobster tails during the last 1–2 minutes of baking to develop a golden top. Watch closely to avoid burning.

Transfer lobster tails to a serving platter. Drizzle with remaining garlic butter and garnish with fresh parsley or chives. Serve with lemon wedges.
