Set oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lightly dust the work surface with flour and roll pizza dough into a rectangle of approximately 25 x 35 cm.

Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat until smoothly combined.

Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 2.5 cm border around the edges. Layer shredded mozzarella and arrange pepperoni slices to evenly cover the cheese.

Starting from the longer side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch all seams and tuck both ends underneath to seal.

Transfer to the prepared baking sheet with the seam facing down. Brush the surface with egg wash, then sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the exterior is golden and crisp.
