Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender steak and juicy shrimp in a creamy, spiced Alfredo sauce clinging to perfect fettuccine - indulgence in every bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 8 oz fettuccine pasta
02 - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
03 - 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, trimmed and cubed
04 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
05 - Salt to taste
06 - Black pepper to taste

→ Sauce

07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
08 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
11 - 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
12 - Fresh chopped parsley or extra Parmesan, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine until al dente according to the package directions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning. Sear the steak until browned on all sides and cooked to your liking, about 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Toss in the shrimp, season with the remaining Cajun seasoning, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and keep warm with the steak.
04 - Lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet using a wooden spoon. Warm the mixture, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
05 - Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the steak and shrimp back in. Stir gently to combine and cook just until everything is warmed through. Garnish with parsley or additional Parmesan and serve immediately.

# Additional Tips:

01 - Using a well-marbled cut of steak like ribeye adds extra flavor to this dish, but sirloin is a leaner alternative.
02 - Adjust the spice level by changing the amount of Cajun seasoning or adding cayenne for extra heat.
03 - For a creamier sauce, add more Parmesan or heavy cream. Loosen the sauce with extra broth or pasta water if needed.
