Stir in chopped onions, kosher salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Continue cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes until onions soften and beef is fully browned.

Add chopped pickles to the skillet and cook for 1 minute more. Reduce heat to low.

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet relish, ketchup, vinegar, onion powder, and salt until smooth.

Add 1 cup of the prepared sauce to the beef mixture and stir until evenly combined. Reserve the remaining sauce for assembly.

Layer each sandwich: bottom bun, sauce, lettuce, cheese slice, beef, middle bun, more sauce, lettuce, pickle chips, more beef, and top bun. Toast buns if desired.
